Welcome to the Bulldogs' web site

Bromborough Basketball Club (the Bulldogs) were formed by a bunch of 12 teenage friends and one adult from Bromborough and Eastham in 1995. Now in our 20th year we still cater for local boys and girls. Our players are aged from 7 to adult and we run five teams in leagues in North Wales and the Wirral.

See the individual team calendars for match dates and events.  We also issue a Newsletter every couple of months.  Here's the latest...

We are a community club, determined to stick to our local roots and develop local players to the best of their abilities. We were in the first 50 basketball clubs in the country to achieve Clubmark and one of the first clubs in any sport to achieve Clubmark on Merseyside.

Our coaches have a wealth of experience as both players and coaches, which they bring to training every Monday and Tuesday then to the court at games.

Our coaching philosophyis directed to making our players better people. We are as proud of the first successful shot by our least experienced players as we are of those who move on to the National Leagues and our internationals.

However, it's not all about getting right to the top. In 2005 we had four boys and four girls representing Merseyside at the annual North West under-13 regional championships, while also having one boy in the Cheshire boys squad being coached by one of our coaches!
